A local artist was pictured painting what appears to be new signage on the front of the newly renovated Roxy Cinema in Ulverston yesterday (October 10).
The man up on the scaffolding in the high vis vest is artist Chris Dorning who was formerly a contestant on Sky Arts' Landscape Artist Of The Year.
Chris has re-vamped the exterior of the 1937 Art Deco building after repairs and renovations started in 2023.

A faint outline can be seen of more text to come.
The post added: "We’ll share the final results soon!"
