Plenty of Pokémon, Hello Kitty and Anime goodies featured at Barrow Market's first Japanese pop-up shop.
BAE staff, college students and families were all reported to have visited The Planet Namek Shop, which also has the online store Oh My Tokyo.
It appeared at the market on Friday (October 4) selling authentic Japanese and Korean items, houseware, clothing, lucky cats and accessories.

In among the collectables were plenty of other iconic Japanese brands such as Dragon Ball Z, Sanrio and Kawaii items.
Over the past two years, the online store has had pop-up shops in the Trafford Centre, Manchester's Arndale centre, Westfield London, London Canary Garden and at Lancaster Charter Market.
Tiffany Chan, director of Oh My Toyko, said: "Last Friday was the first time we traded in Barrow and we made a really good sale.
"Barrow Market is a very convenient and high footfall place. Our customers included BAE staff, college students, families and many people from many different generations.
"Barrow Market Hall definitely made the event a success as they promoted us on all their Facebook platforms to encourage many people to come here to shop."
The next time Planet Namek Shop will be in Barrow will be as part of Autumn Fest at Barrow Outdoor Market on Saturday, October 26.
It will then be at the Barrow Monthly Market again on November 1 and the Christmas Market on December 15.
Tiffany added: "We are still looking to see if there is any suitable places for our business in Barrow or South Lakes - we aim to be a one-stop Japan/Korea experience destination.
"We hope to see all anime lovers and Pokémon trainers at coming markets."
