A road closure will be put in place in South Cumbria while utility works are carried out.
The temporary closure of Mountbarrow Road in Ulverston will allow Fibrus Networks Limited to carry out utility works which are expected to start on October 16.
The work is anticipated to take two days to complete.
A restriction will be in place from Mountbarrow Road's junction with Red Lane, extending in a northerly direction to its junction with Bigland Drive.
An alternative route via the unrestricted sections of Mountbarrow Road, Oakwood Drive, Priory Road and White Gill Lane will be signed and made available.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times, as well as a way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
Any queries in relation to this temporary order should be directed to the Highways Hotline by calling 0300 373 3306 or via the Westmorland & Furness Council website, quoting the reference TTROW/11212.
