Time is running out for you to vote for your favourite beauty-based business in south Cumbria.

Last month The Mail launched the 'Best Beauty Salon 2024' award which aimed to promote the people providing some style and glamour to the region.

Our readers were invited to nominate the businesses they felt were deserving of the accolade with 10 finalists selected from those results.

Voting has been taking place since the start of last week with the window to submit your choice closing on Saturday, October 12.

The Mail's 'Best Beauty Salon 2024' award series pt.1:

To support the ongoing competition, The Mail has been running a series of special features about each of the finalists.

These have been uncovering the stories of the people behind the businesses, revealing why the region has so many worthy representatives in the industry.

The 10 salons are now nervously waiting to find out who will be taking home the award, with the winner set to be announced on the week commencing Monday, October 21.

Could the battle of Millom decide the champion with the Beauty Hub, the Beauty Lounge, and Innovation Hair and Beauty all representing the west of the county.

Could Ulverston's sole representative take the crown where Eden Beauty Rooms is looking to celebrate its 18th birthday in style.

The Mail's 'Best Beauty Salon 2024' award series pt.2:

Might Dalton prove victorious thanks to The Tanning Salon's family-focused ethos?

Or are one of the teams from Barrow going to get your vote before the window closes?

Both NJ Beauty Retreat on Scott Street and MEGAesthetics of Cavendish Street are relatively new on the scene and will be hoping their fresh perspective will set them apart from the others.

Meanwhile, the owners of Sarèan Hair and Beauty, Coco Hair and Beauty, and Boss Beauty all boast decades' worth of experience in the industry.

Will that expertise push them over the line? Make sure your vote is submitted before Saturday.
