A Cumbrian museum has seen a 'bumper turnout' of classic cars and enthusiasts at its latest event.
The Lakeland Motor Museum's 'Autumn Drive and Ride In' showcased a collection of classic and vintage vehicles, while also attracting a number of motoring fans.
The exhibition area allowed visitors to view a variety of vehicles spanning the last century, including a mid-1920s Humber and a modern McLaren.
The event was not limited to British vehicles, with a significant number of American muscle cars on display.
One such vehicle, a 1938 Ford 'Flatside' pick-up truck, took home the 'Awesome Autumn' trophy.
The car's owner, Stephen Park from Kendal, revealed that the truck had been found as a left-hand drive restoration project, with a partially fitted transit diesel engine.
Chris Lowe, curator of the Lakeland Motor Museum, said: "It was another great turnout for our latest Classic Drive and Ride In Day, which always have a strong appeal for anyone who wants the chance to see some classic vehicles and enjoy a fun day out.
"Special congratulations go to Stephen Park and his fantastic 1938 Ford 'Flatside' pick-up truck.
"Many of the visitors also took the opportunity to explore the Lakeland Motor Museum’s remarkable collection of classic and vintage vehicles, thousands of items of automobilia and the Bluebird Exhibition – a tribute to the exploits of the speed kings Donald and Malcolm Campbell."
The next 'Drive and Ride In' event on the museum's calendar is the Boxing Day rally, in addition to the monthly first Saturday morning meeting of Lakeland Historic Car Club.
Museum enthusiasts residing in the LA/CA postcode can apply for a local residents card, which allows discounted entry to the museum throughout the year.
This includes a 50 per cent winter discount that is currently in place until May 1.
