A MAN accused of rape and sexual assault is due to appear in court.
Richard Postlethwaite is due to face South Cumbria Magistrates' Court after he was charged with one count of rape and two of sexual assault.
The 59-year-old, of Pottery Street in Barrow, is said to have committed the offences against a woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, in 2022.
The defendant is due to appear before magistrates on Wednesday.
