A returning event in Barrow is looking to build upon the 'huge success' it saw in its debut last year.

Organised by Barrow BID, Autumn Fest will be back at the Outdoor Market on Saturday, October 26.

It will once again feature a range of family-friendly activities, including craft workshops, face painting, and the R1R2 Gaming Van.

There will also be a free pop-up pumpkin patch, which is supported by local businesses to ensure that residents can decorate their homes in time for Halloween.

The team at Low Sunbrick Farm will be in attendance on the day, giving people the chance to meet their alpacas.

Last year, BID Project Manager Paul Hodgson celebrated the fact that the number of visitors went 'far beyond' their original expectations.

He and Barrow BID will now be hoping that the day will be just as, or even more, popular later this month.
