A SECTION of road near Gawthwaite will be closed later this week whilst works are carried out.
Motorists will be unable to access the B5281 southbound between October 11 to October 14.
The road will be shut from its junction with the A5092, extending in a south easterly direction for approximately 2.7 km.
An alternative route can be made via the C590, A5092 and the unrestricted section of the B5281.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency vehicles will also be maintained where required.
The work is anticipated to take up to four days to complete.
