THE road that accesses Lakeside will close for up to one day while works are carried out.
The road (C5026) will be closed between 9.30am and 3pm on October 8 from its junction with Woodlands Close, extending in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 240 metres.
The area is popular with tourists visiting the Lakeside hotel, the ferry pier and the heritage railway.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, and access for emergency vehicles where required.
An alternative route would be via the B5285, A593, A5084, A5092 and the unrestricted section of the C5026.
