Students are channelling their inner secret agent this weekend, as St Mark’s CofE Primary School in Kendal hosts a 007 themed event.
The school in Natland will be putting on a James Bond themed fundraiser at Kendal Rugby Club on Saturday October 5.
They are raising money to increase and expand on their current Nursery provision to include wraparound care, and better support pupils with special educational needs by building more school spaces for vulnerable pupils to receive group work and one-to-one attention.
The event, cleverly named ‘From Natland with love’, will feature an Auction of Promises, made up of a range of prizes donated by local businesses and individuals.
The auction includes ‘sought after’ Frank Bruno memorabilia, Kendal calling tickets and a family photography session.
Over 100 people are expected to attend the event, with more tickets available to buy on the door.
The event will see music provided by DJ Oli as well as a meal of pie and peas, which is included in the ticket price.
Headteacher, Ms Louise Hinton said: “St Mark’s school has never done an event quite like this one and the team that has put it together have done an incredible job. We just need everyone to come and have a wonderful night!”
