Two teenagers were arrested after reports of threatening behaviour in Barrow town centre.

The pair, both male and in their mid-teens, were caught following a police operation.

The arrests came after an incident at 9.14pm on October 1, where two males on bikes reportedly intimidated a group of young people in the Crelin Street area.

One of the teenagers allegedly had a blade.

Both remain in custody.

The arrests are part of Operation Enhance, a crackdown on anti-social behaviour and serious violence in hotspot areas across the county.
