It's officially spooky season in one Cumbrian town after a Nightmare Before Christmas-themed post box topper was left by 'fairies'.
No later than October 1, the Halloween crochet appeared on top of a Royal Mail post box outside Millom post office.
The creation features the protagonist of the 1993 film Jack Skellington next to villian Oggie Boogie complete with creepy crawlies in his mouth.

The topper was created in director Tim Burton's typical contrast of bright vivid shades and dark monochrome colours.
Crochets in the same spot have included Easter, Valentine' s and Minions themes, among many others, with the exact creators remaining somewhat of a mystery.
A spokesperson for Millom Crochet Fairies said: "There are two of us and we've been decorating the post box for about two and a half years now.
"We bounce ideas off each other and then decide if they are feasible and who should do which bit.

"Sometimes we have a pattern, sometimes we make them up. We like to be incognito - it's more fun that way.
"We often work on several at one time. We reuse and recycle bits of them - this is the third outing for the Halloween base!"
