A group that hosts sponsored sleep-out events to raise funds for a homeless charity are looking for participants for an upcoming event.
Forty Winks 4 Furness are looking for people to join them in their sponsored Sleep-At The Stadium event, at Barrow AFC SO Legal stadium on November 30.
Organised by Roosecote town Councillor Paul Griffiths and a team of volunteers, the event aims to raise awareness and funds in aid of the Furness Homeless Support Group charity, who support people from the Furness area that may find themselves sleeping rough.

Councillor Griffiths explained his reasons for organising the event: "I believe it's important to raise awareness because, here in Furness, it's easy to think there isn't really a problem with homelessness as we don't see so many people on the streets," he said.
"However, that is largely thanks to the hard work of organisations such as the Furness Homeless Support group who take people in need, place them in temporary accommodations and help overcome barriers that prevent a move into full time accommodation.
"With the World Homeless Day just around the corner, on 10th October, now is a good time to recognise the crisis that continues to grow year on year.
"It could be a loss of a job, the death of a partner, the breakdown of a relationship, or many other reasons, that mean they can no longer afford to keep a roof over their head.
"Furness Homeless Support Group have been providing support for Furness families and individuals since 1989 and often, all of their temporary accommodations are full."
Last year's event saw around 60 participants sleeping-out which included the Barrow and Furness MP and three local Mayors and raised £14k in aid of FHSG.
