An event in Ulverston hopes to get people talking about their mental health whilst also walking their dogs.
The 'Mental Elf Fun Run' will take place at Ford Park on Sunday, December 15 from 11.15am, with registration opening from 10am.
All proceeds of the 5km run will go towards Mind in Furness, a charity that provides support for people of all ages across the peninsula.
The fundraising event will be dog friendly, with organisers hoping that locals will come out in force along with their pooches.
Up until Friday, October 11, an early bird special is being run that means tickets are currently £12 for adults and £10 for juniors, though prices will increase slightly after this date.
If you would like to sign up for the fun run, then you can visit the website here.
