A beloved community event is returning to Ulverston this weekend for what will be its 10th anniversary.
Apple Day at Ford Park is a free-to-attend festival that puts the fruit centre stage, and it will be taking place on Saturday, October 5.
The event invites people to bring their own apples for pressing - for a small donation - and try out their baking skills in the annual competition.

This year, a new addition to Apple Day is coming for all the four-legged companions joining in with the show, with Bark in the Park running alongside the usual festivities.
Along with a typical dog show, this will also involve food vendors, face painting, dog-themed stalls, and a chance to talk to Church Walk Vets.
If you would like to enter your dog into the competition, then visit the website here.
