A business in Barrow has promised that 'exciting times' are ahead after being nominated for an award.

Last month, The Mail launched the 'Best Beauty Salon 2024' award to promote the people who are bringing a dash of glamour to the region.

Our readers were invited to nominate the businesses they felt were deserving of the accolade with 10 finalists selected from those results.

Voting is now taking place for two weeks up until Saturday, October 12 and you can make sure your voice is heard by picking up a copy of The Mail before the deadline.

To coincide with the competition, The Mail has been running a series of special features promoting each of the final businesses.

She said: "It's a huge honour to be nominated and we are absolutely thrilled about it.

"The business is growing fast and we continue to offer the best services to our clients old and new."

Sherry joined the Boss team in April this year and has brought her 20 years of experience in the industry to the Barrow-based business.

"We are passionate about client care and offering a professional service," she added.

"Amber is a specialist in lashes, eyebrows, nails and much more, and Tara joins us next month who will be offering a huge range of holistic health and wellbeing treatments.

"With that new addition and this award nomination, exciting times are truly ahead."

As well as all the beauty treatments you could possibly need, the studio is also well known as a hair salon, which is managed by Claire Needham.

If you think that Boss Beauty deserves to pick up the new accolade, then make sure your vote is cast before October 12.
