Tesco has explained why it chose Barrow's one and only 'fish and a rice cake' guy to be the face of its meal deal option that's perfect for gym goers.
34-year-old Danny Andrews went 'viral' after appearing on BBC Three’s Baby Face Body Builders documentary in 2007 at 16 after explaining his stringent 'fish and a rice cake' diet for an upcoming bodybuilding competition.
After the launch of his own food brand, Danny's Protein Rice Cakes in June, the bodybuilder is now part of a new Tesco Food campaign.

Enter Danny Andrews, who can be seen bench-pressing in the park.
He shouts 'naahhh' and emphasises that healthy protein-filled option of a 'chicken salad, U-Fit and an egg pot' is all that is needed.
The supermarket chain has now revealed why it chose the bodybuilder for its ad campaign.
