A returning show on the BBC will dedicate one of its episodes to a couple living in the Lake District.
'Our Lives' is now entering its eighth series, following people from all walks of life in the UK and chronicling the extraordinary things they get up to.
In the 12th episode of the latest series, 'Our Lives' introduces viewers to Anna and Mat, a couple who are adding an adventurous element to their relationship.
As the synopsis explains: "Like most couples, Anna and Mat are just trying to figure life out - unlike most couples, they’ve decided the best way to do this is a 100-mile climbing adventure in the Lakes.
"They are passionate free solo climbers, so they will be taking on massive climbs with no safety gear.
"They need to trust each other, resolve conflicts fast, and by the end of their journey, decide what happens next."
The episode will follow Anna and Mat as they undertake the mammoth challenge throughout the Lake District across seven days.
They will tackle some of the 'highest, scariest and most beautiful' peaks that the country has to offer, as well as discovering more about the strength of their partnership before tying the knot.
As Anna says in the episode: "This journey will test our skills and resilience, but the ultimate test will on our relationship - succeed or fail together."
The eighth series was announced back in August this year, and is already available to watch via BBC iPlayer.
Across the 12-episode run, England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will all have three episodes dedicated to their surroundings and the people who make the countries special.
'The Lakes: Our Life on the Edge' will officially be broadcast on Friday, October 18 on BBC One at 7.30pm.
But if you are impatient, you can follow Anna and Mat's journey on iPlayer to see if they can complete the journey together.
