Attention is already turning to next year after applications opened for a returning festival in south Cumbria.
Printfest, which took place in May at The Coro in Ulverston, smashed a number of records in 2024 and will now be looking to build upon this high level of success.
This year, around 2,000 printmaking fans packed into the venue which organisers said broke all records for sales with exhibitors shifting around £85,000 worth of work.

On Tuesday, October 1, the Printfest team revealed that the well-loved event will be returning between May 1 and 4 2025, with people having the opportunity to apply to get involved.
The festival has made itself known for the exhibition and sale of contemporary hand-made prints, offering the public the chance to view and purchase affordable artworks direct from the artists, as well as learning more about printmaking.
