A family business in Dalton is competing to be named as the best in Furness.
Last month, The Mail launched the 'Best Beauty Salon 2024' award to promote the people who are bringing a dash of glamour to the region.
Our readers were invited to nominate the businesses they felt were deserving of the accolade with 10 finalists selected from those results.
Voting is now taking place for two weeks up until Saturday, October 12 and you can make sure your voice is heard by picking up a copy of The Mail before the deadline.

In this feature, we are travelling to Dalton, where the Tanning Salon on Market Street has been welcoming customers for four years.
Carly Griffiths, the manager, said: "Considering the number of fabulous businesses in the area we are absolutely blown away to be nominated.
"In 2018, as a family, my Mum Maureen, Dad Paul, sister Kelly and myself saw a gap in the beauty market to introduce a different kind of tanning to Dalton and collectively worked on bringing the concept to fruition and created a small family business."
The Griffiths bought a vacant property in 2019 and transformed it over year into a 'stylish and modern' site, though the Covid pandemic delayed the opening of its doors.
But, since its opening in July 2020, the team have built up a loyal base in excess of 1500 clients, many of whom have become good friends.
"We give back to the Dalton community as much as possible and, for a small business, are proud to provide sponsorship to Dalton Rugby club, Dalton Cricket club, Dalton Football club and also provide support for dozens of other local organisations on a regular basis.
"Along with our lovely, small team of staff, we hope to provide a little ray of sunshine in Dalton for many years to come."
If you think the Griffiths and The Tanning Salon are deserving of the award, then make sure to cast your vote by October 12.
