A CLASS A drug dealer will be sentenced it a crown court next month.
Evan Salehi-John, of West View Road in Barrow, pleaded guilty at the first opportunity to being concerned in the supply of cocaine when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on September 30.
The court heard the 20-year-old committed the offence over 43 days between August 1 2023 – September 13 2023 in Barrow.
Salehi-John also admitted to supplying the controlled Class A drug on September 12 in Barrow, as well as being in possession of Class B cannabis.
The offences were charged under Schedule 4 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Magistrates adjourned the case due to insufficient sentencing powers and ordered for an all-options pre-sentence report.
The defendant was granted unconditional bail and will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on November 11.
The court was told he had no previous convictions.
