MOTORISTS heading southbound on the M6 motorway this afternoon are being warned of 45-minute delays.
There is currently a backlog of traffic on the approach between Junction 33 for Garstang and Junction 32 of the M55 due to a car catching fire, according to National Highways: North-West.
One lane is currently closed on the M6 southbound.
The vehicle has been extinguished and recovery has been arranged.
