A restaurant in the Lake District has been named as one of the best spots in the world to bring your pet.
Boardwalk Bar and Grill, found on Glebe Road in Bowness, was recognised as part of TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards, which were revealed this week.
The pet-friendly category was a new introduction for 2024 and saw the Lake District spot finish in 10th place in the global rankings.
It was joined in the top 10 by The Kings Head of Masham in North Yorkshire, which ranked sixth, and the Watermill in Dorking, which pipped Boardwalk to ninth spot.
A spokesperson from the restaurant commented: "First of all, we pride ourselves on friendly, excellent customer service - so we are delighted to have achieved this recognition.
"Boardwalk Bar and Grill is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere, where both pets and their owners are treated with exceptional hospitality.
"Visitors are greeted warmly by staff, who offer cuddles and specially-made treats to their animal guests."

The popular business has been serving customers for over four years - and it is not just everyday animals that come through the door at times.
"Our restaurant has hosted a wide array of pets, including all breeds of dogs, exotic Bengal cats and rabbits - we even had a visit recently from a macaw parrot named ‘Diego’," said a spokesman.
"We draw inspiration from the adventurous spirit of the Lake District's dog walkers, and we seek to integrate that same spirit of adventure into our dining experience.
"This creates a unique ambiance that caters to pet lovers while ensuring an enjoyable visit for all."
Whilst it is attracting a pet-loving crowd, the restaurant wants it known that it is not a requirement to book a table.
"For guests who prefer a pet-free dining environment, our upstairs section of the restaurant provides a tranquil setting to enjoy Boardwalk's fresh, locally-sourced cuisine," said the spokesman.
"Positioned along a picturesque waterfront, the restaurant is dedicated to crafting memorable experiences for every visitor, whether they arrive with pets or not, reinforcing our commitment to exemplary service and a vibrant dining atmosphere."
