A WOMAN is due to appear in court charged with causing a male and a female serious alarm or distress.
Kayleigh Christopher, of Bath Street in Barrow, is charged with four counts of stalking between May 1 2022 – August 1 2022.
Court documents show the offences relate to the 37-year-old defendant making numerous unwanted telephone calls, sending abusive text messages, publishing Facebook posts and making verbal threats via telephone.
They also show her actions allegedly caused a substantial effect on the day-to-day activities of one of her victims.
Christopher is also charged with failing to surrender to custody at Preston Crown Court having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on December 28 last year at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.
