A MAN from Barrow has been remanded into custody after being charged by detectives following his arrest yesterday (September 26).
Brandon Woolveridge, of Melbourne Street, was charged with blackmail following an investigation into the exploitation of owners of missing pets.
The 25-year-old appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court this morning (September 27).
He was remanded into custody and will next appear at Preston Crown Court on October 25.
