A driver has been handed a 17-month ban after using a vehicle not covered by his licence and failing to provide a blood specimen.
Jordan Trengove, 24, of Longway, Barrow, drove a VW Golf on Walney Promenade on April 28 otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a car of that class.
He also failed to provide a specimen of blood for a laboratory test when asked to do so on April 29.
Trengove pleaded guilty to the offences on September 24 at South Cumbria Magistrates Court. He has also been fined £200.
