TWO people have admitted shoplifting hundreds of pounds worth of items from Morrisons in Barrow.
Gavin Gorton, 54, and Julie Cottier, 57, both of Risedale Road, admitted two charges of stealing from Morrisons on August 15 and 22.
Gorton stole £120 worth of 'various household items' on August 15 and also £121 worth of 'various items' on the 22nd.
Cottier stole £120 worth of 'various items' on the 15th and £121-worth of 'various items including toiletries and domestic cleaning items' on the 22nd.
Gorton and Cottier admitted the offences during a hearing at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on September 24.
Both will receive drug rehabilitation treatment and were ordered to pay £60 in compensation.
