An event is coming to south Cumbria next month for teens who are 'feeling anxious' about climate change.
'Pause the Planet' will take place at Swarthmoor Hall in Ulverston on Wednesday, October 30 between 10.30am and 4pm.
The free-to-attend event is designed for anyone aged between 14 and 18.
It has come about through a partnership involving the Cumbria Development Education Centre, based in Ambleside, and Playful Nature, which looks to create 'inspiring experiences' for all ages.
Participants will discuss the state of the world, climate change and the biodiversity crisis, with other like-minded young people for a day of 'relaxation, creativity and nature connection'.
They will explore approaches to dealing with eco-anxiety like Active Hope and share ideas for taking action.
Places at the event are limited, with booking beforehand essential.
