A Pink Floyd tribute band is bringing its new tour to Ulverston.
The Floyd Effect will perform at The Coro on Saturday, September 28, as part of its 2024-2025 Dark Animals tour.
The tour will feature two of the band's most famous albums, Animals and Dark Side of the Moon, played in full and without breaks.
The Floyd Effect is known for its covers of Pink Floyd's music, using only live instruments and no computer assistance.
The band also puts on a 'dramatic light show', with the circular screen and two sets of projections.
The Animals album, which is almost 50 years old, was chosen for the tour after it topped a poll by The Floyd Effect's fans.
The album, known for its 'angular musical passages and angry lyrics', draws upon material written at the same time as Dark Side of the Moon.
The Coro, in Ulverston, will host the concert.
