The 10 finalists can now be revealed as The Mail searches for the best beauty salon in Furness.
The new award campaign was officially launched last week, inviting readers to nominate the businesses they felt were deserving of the accolade.
Having found the best chippy, pub, hairdresser and bakery on the peninsula, we are now turning our attention to those places that leave you feeling glamorous.
With that nomination period having now come to an end, the hundreds of submissions have been counted to uncover the 10 salons that will be vying for your vote.

The Tanning Salon – 66 Market Street, Dalton-in-Furness
The chance to cast your vote will open on Monday, September 30 and will for run for two weeks up until Saturday, October 12.
You will be able to show your support for your favourite beauty salon by picking up a copy of The Mail before the deadline.
The winner of the 'Best Beauty Salon 2024' award will then be announced on the week commencing Monday, October 21.
Throughout the coming fortnight, The Mail will be running special features about each of the businesses, revealing the stories of the people who have made them a success on the local scene.
These will appear online and in print every day across those two weeks, giving you extra incentive to grab your copy of the paper.
Keep an eye out for those features - and make sure you cast your vote before the deadline!
