A VEHICLE flipped in a crash on the Coast Road leading to the air ambulance being called.
A Kia and a Hyundai crashed on the road near Rampside Pitch n Putt at 2.30pm on Friday.
The road was initially closed in both directions to allow for recovery. It fully reopened by 5.20pm.
Cumbria Police said that one of the vehicles had flipped, leading to an air ambulance call out.
According to the log, there were no serious injuries as a result, said police.
