NATIONAL Highways has warned drivers using the M6 today to travel 'with caution' as a wide load travelling at 12mph makes its way across the county.
The operation set off from Heysham at 9am, joining the M6 at junction 34, and will take 12 hours to reach Longtown.
The agency asked drivers to take 'care and patience' when overtaking.
