HERE is how you can learn more about Cumbria’s local nature recovery (LNRS) strategy.
The Cumbria LNRS team will host a series of Zoom webinars aimed at various audiences.
LNRS are ground-breaking new mechanisms to plan for nature recovery at a local level.
These webinars aim to introduce the LNRS to those who may not already be aware of it, explain nature recovery, and allow people to share their views on what they are already doing to enhance biodiversity or what they would like to see more of.
One of the webinars aimed for community groups, residents and Parish councils is taking place on Tuesday, September 24 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
For farmers, landowners and businesses is on Thursday, September 26 from 5pm to 6pm.
For schools and education professionals is on Tuesday, October 1, from 4pm to 5pm.
For health and wellbeing professionals is taking place on Thursday, October 3, from 3pm to 4pm.
