BAE Systems Submarines welcomed D-Day veterans to its Barrow site.
The World War II veterans were given a tour of the facilities by managing director Steve Timms, followed by a lunch with BAE Systems veterans and cadets from the area.
The veterans were Ken Benbow, 98, from Kirkham, who served on HMS Crane in the Battle of the Atlantic on D-Day; Stewart Taylor, 101, from Preston, a Dakota pilot who supported D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge; Bill Mould, 100, a Leyland Mustang fighter pilot who was shot down over North Italy and Croatia, and Richard Brock from Lancaster, who landed on Gold Beach on D-Day.
Mr Timms said: "It was humbling and inspiring to meet such remarkable gentleman and give them a tour around our facility in Barrow.
"Without their sacrifices in WW2, we would not be able to live freely and deliver our national endeavour today.
"Showing them round our site was a small token of appreciation for the selflessness they showed during the war."
