A business in Barrow has sent a 'generous donation' to a charity in memory of a loved one.
The Walk to Remember event, organised by St Mary's Hospice, took place on Friday, September 6 and saw over 1,000 people take part, paying tribute to the people they have lost.
Earlier this week, Travel the Globe - located within Stollers on Walney Road - passed on a donation worth £1,000 to the hospice in memory of Steve Milby, who lost his life to cancer.
A spokesperson from St Mary's commented: "Their support means the world to us and has made this event even more special as we honour Steve's legacy.
"Thank you so much to them for making a real difference to our charity."
Plans are already in place for next year's Walk to Remember, which will return on September 5, and you can sign up for the event here.
