The hunt for a venue to host a Scouting for Girls gig in Cumbria has failed after their show at the Forum Theatre was cancelled due the discovery of asbestos.
Westmorland and Furness Council scrambled to find a venue for the indie-band who were due to play next month.
Ulverston Amateur Operatic Society, who had a slot for the same date on October 5 at the Coronation Hall, initially thought they would have to give up their Saturday matinee performance of Oklahoma when approached by the council.

The council apologised for 'any misunderstanding' and said it was 'always intended that any decision was the society's to make.'
The local authority announced this morning that an alternative venue for Scouting for Girls was unable to be found.
Speaking on its Facebook page this, a council spokesperson said: "Working with Scouting For Girls' team, we have explored other options but unfortunately have not been able to secure another venue in the area.
"However, the good news is we are working closely with Scouting for Girls to find a date in 2025.
"We hope to have more information on a new date very soon, but if customers would like more information or a refund please contact the Forum box office on 01229 820000.
"We would like to thank ticket holders for their support and understanding."
