A DRINK driver has been banned from the road after she was caught more than double the legal limit for alcohol.
Tamzin Saywell was charged with the offence after she drove a Ford Focus on Ramsgate Crescent in Barrow on August 23.
The 20-year-old admitted the offence when she appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
She was found to have had 71 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35.
Saywell also admitted driving without an appropriate licence and without insurance..
The court fined the defendant, of Barrow's Wordsworth Street, £120 and banned her from driving for 20 months.
