THE swings at a park which were out of use for weeks are now repaired.
The swing seats and chains at Vickerstown Park on Walney were out of use for weeks to repair damage.
Westmorland and Furness Council said works to resurface the safety area beneath the swings were completed on the afternoon of September 13.
A council spokesperson said: "We had anticipated the swings to be back open for use by tomorrow (Saturday 14 September) but this will now be Monday 16 September.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience."
