THE name of a new compilation album to be released by a Barrow-based record label has been revealed.
Ten artists and bands from Seahouse Records have gathered to record a compilation album.
Artists include Olivia Dacre, Pearl and the Piano, Johny Swift, Jamie Bosanko, Barry Postlethwaite, Peter Kassell, Mark Docherty, PaZz, Prater Monks and Emker Cel.
The album, set to be released in late October, will be titled 'Songs from Round Town' based on the song of Peter Kassell's Round Town to be included in the record.

The album will comprise ten new songs touching on themes about what 'Barrow's heritage means to them'.
"The themes for the songs ranged from quite different things," said the chairman of Seahouse Records Matt Kassell.
"Some about what it means culturally to be from Barrow, some people would talk about nights out or the nightlife, some people would look at it historically and when bands first started playing and music started growing in the area.
"People have written about geographically what it is like to live in Barrow. The shipyard features quite heavily."
They played their recordings through speakers for the first time at the Westmorland and Furness Heritage Fund event at the town hall on September 7.
This came as last year they applied for a heritage grant and as it was successfully awarded to them the label was one of the 20 winners at the event.
Matt said the feedback at the event was 'very positive'.
He added: "People enjoyed the sound, particularly the lyrics. People really related to the lyrics.
"It shows that there is an audience for these songs. We have got a few pre-orders."
"Hopefully it will raise the profile of the label."
They have also filmed some session footage and will be making a short documentary about the making of the album when it is released.
