Westmorland and Furness Council have updated residents on their plans to carry out repairs to a park in Barrow.
The seats and chains of the swing sets at Vickerstown Park on Walney in Barrow are in need off attention.
Work to resurface the safety area beneath the swings has been completed this afternoon, Friday September 13.
The area now needs a few days to set before the swings can be put back in place.
Westmorland and Furness Council said they had anticipated the swings to be back open for use by tomorrow, Saturday September 14.
However, this has been pushed back to Monday September 16.
They said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience."
