A LONDON bus was spotted hundreds of miles away from its home filling up in a petrol station.
The distinctive bus was spotted at Whartons Garage on Duke Street in Millom on Monday by Anthony Woodburn.
Bystanders could even clearly see '110 Hammersmith' displayed on the side.
Transport for London confirmed the double decker bus is now privately owned adding that the branding and bus blinds should not still be in place.
Mr Woodburn said it was 'not a sight you see so often.' When he shared his photo on social media, one commenter joked that they could finally use their Oyster card.
