"So I bought you a present," Danny said. "When I was sixteen, I was on a bodybuilding documentary.
"And there was a clip where I say, 'Eight o' clock in the morning, I'll have fish and a rice cake, and then I have some more fish and a rice cake.
"And then I come across really thick on it and it went viral."
Helen then had moment of realisation and said :" "You're that guy?! I've watched that! That's so funny!"
Unfortunately, it seems the Coronation Street star could not get passed the meme and she buzzed Danny.
She later explained to producers she couldn't go out with a 'meme' so she was afraid it was a 'no.'
"I should've taken my rice cake back," joked Danny. "In all seriousness, those shows are fun and they're entertaining so I don't take it too personally and think she buzzed me for being a minger.
"The most important thing is, she tried the rice cake and I did the show on the condition I could take my rice cake.
"Appearances like this are really fun and they offer great opportunities and you get to meet some great people."
