A Bowness-based a hair salon and wedding specialist has secured multiple pop-up locations with a popular department store.
Anna Sorbie Ltd has expanded its reach to Manchester and London.
In July Anna announced that she had landed a prestigious pop-up with national chain John Lewis and would be making an appearance at their Manchester store at the Trafford Centre.
The pop-up is scheduled to arrive in Manchester this winter and carry on into 2025 every month with a focus on Anna’s range of headpieces and formulated, sustainably packaged vegan haircare products.
She has now secured boutique pop-ups at two additional locations and will be found at John Lewis shops in at on the Thames and Peter Jones on Sloan Square in London.
Anna said: “With over two decades of dedication to honing various skill sets and building my brand, I have tirelessly financed my learning and business endeavours. The culmination of my hard work has led me to be recognized as an industry leader, and the recent success in securing pop-up shops fills me with immense joy. As they say, hard work pays off.
“This opportunity has not only opened numerous doors for me, but it also allows me to create opportunities for others. It allows Lake District based artist to meet potential bridal and special occasion clients who are further afield and looking to come to the lakes for special occasions.”
Next year, Anna is excited to launch an educational program which will collaborate with educators nationwide.
Anna is working with Habia, the industry-leading organization recognized by the government as the Standard Setting Body (SSB) for the hair, beauty, nails, spa, and aesthetic sectors.
Anna also revealed that the salon in Bowness is undergoing renovations to include a larger retail shop and a dedicated space to promote the Save Windermere campaign.
This will allow her to offer chair rentals in the salon, along with a new freelance platform for artists.
