There is still time to vote for your favourite bakery in Barrow and across Furness.
Last month The Mail launched the 'Best Bakery 2024' awards, beginning a search to find the peninsula's greatest spot for sweet treats and hot snacks.
Thanks to nominations from our readers, a list of 10 finalists was revealed, which have all been vying to be named as the ultimate champion.
For almost two weeks, the public has been using that shortlist to vote for what they believe is the best bakery in the local area.
That window for voting is on the verge of closing, with readers having until Saturday, September 14 to ensure that their voice is heard and counted.

Discussing the newly established awards, Newsquest Cumbria regional editor Joy Yates said: “Who can resist the delicious smell of bread and baked goods as you walk past some of the wonderful bakeries in our county?
"Whether you’ve a soft spot for pies and pastries, or prefer cakes and cookies, no doubt you have your favourite go-to bakery.
“Now’s the time to show your appreciation and place your vote in our Best Bakery 2024 promotion."
Throughout the competition, The Mail has been running a series of special features to properly celebrate each of the finalists.
The 10 establishments do not have much longer to wait until they find out which one has done enough to take the crown.

Will it be a battle of the two Bakery's? Run by the same team, the shops on Sutherland Street and Amphitrite Street in Barrow have both earned nominations.
Will it come down to a family connection with Daddy's Family Bakery and Martin and Smith Family Bakery going up against one another?
Could it come down to the Hairy Bikers' choice with the TV chefs publicly supporting both Green's Pies and Thomas' Bakery in the past?
Will Dalton's Pie Shop take the award or will it be heading to Grange Bakery instead?
Or could we be faced with a battle between McLeys and Deli.sh, two cornerstones of the Barrow dining scene?
The winner of the 'Best Bakery 2024' award will be announced in the week commencing Monday, September 23.
