More than 30 gigs, comedy shows, plays, workshops, and events will take place in Ulverston this autumn.

The Coro is set to welcome thousands of visitors for its busiest season of the year.

The season will kick off with the Planet Mirth Friday Night Live comedy club on September 27, featuring Alun Cochrane.

The Noise Next Door's new show, Freewheeling, will also take place, alongside a comedy wine tasting experience on October 30.

The music programme promises a mix of genres including Afrobeat, heavy rock, Texas blues, and Scottish folk.

Kweku of Ghana, also known as K.O.G, will start his UK tour in Ulverston on November 2.

Scottish folk favourites Peatbog Faeries will perform on October 18, and Ulverston's saxophonist Jess Gillam will return with her ensemble on November 1.

Tribute bands will perform in the Main Hall, including The Simon and Garfunkel Story on September 25, and The Floyd Effect on September 28.

The James Wilton Dance Company will perform their new show, LORE, on October 17.

Cabaret Circus Enchante, part circus, part 1920s cabaret, will take place on October 29.

A madcap version of Frankenstein by Oddsocks Theatre will be performed on October 25, and a one-man comedy show, Is That a Whip in Your Hand, will take place on November 16.
