A returning fundraiser in Haverigg is already setting its sights on next year.
The Sea Wall Seven Miler took place at the end of June, breaking a number of records in the process - including the number of people involved and the amount raised for charity.
The organisers are hoping to build upon this success when it returns on July 6 2025, with the team announcing last weekend that Mind in Furness would this time be benefitting from the donations.
Leigh Young said: "We want the event to grow and get better and better.
"Mind in Furness are yet another cracking charity we can all get behind, with 23 staff and 50 volunteers, who are based in Barrow providing mental health support in Ulverston, Dalton, Millom and the wider Furness area."
This year, over £4000 was given to St Mary's Hospice, with 155 people taking part.
With this evident popularity, 2025 will see the number of entrants expanded to 200 so that more people than ever can get involved.
