The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) thanked donors after this year's Barrow Ladies Lifeboat Guild Annual Gala Day.
This year, the event on the Green at Marine Terrace on Roa Island, was part of the RNLI's 200th anniversary celebrations on August 24.
In total, over £1,600 was raised from a variety of stalls selling RNLI souvenirs, books, plants, cakes and refreshments - with a village hall tombola also taking place.

A Barrow Lifeboat spokesman said: "A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Barrow Ladies Lifeboat Guild Annual Gala Day on the 24th August.
"A total of over £1,600 was raised to help keep the Barrow Lifeboat Station running and to enable our volunteers to continue to save lives at sea.
"The RNLI relies entirely on voluntary donations and events like the Gala are one of the many ways in which we raise those vital funds."
This year, the team said the breezy conditions made it challenging to get set up but everything was ready for when the Gala at Roa Island opened at 1pm.
The spokesman added: "It was a great afternoon with lots to see and do on The Green in front of Marine Terrace with the highlight of the afternoon being the launching of both Barrow Lifeboats and a display of their capabilities."
