Two businesses in south Cumbria have been shortlisted for a national award.
Bluebell and Ivy, which is based in Ulverston, and The Bloom Room of Millom could be named as the Retail Florist of the Year as part of the British Florist Association Industry Awards.
After a period of public voting, the finalists were revealed on Friday, September 6, with the eventual winners being declared at an award evening in Nottingham on September 28.
Lauren Hart, who opened Bluebell and Ivy back in 2016, described how she was 'over the moon' to receive the latest recognition for her efforts.
The title is nothing new for Nicola Armstrong, who set up her business in 2012, having picked up this award two years ago.
She will be hoping that she can use that previous success to her advantage, whilst Lauren will be buoyed by her title as Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018's edition of the Heart of Ulverston Awards.
