The annual Westmorland Show is set to feature an appealing attraction thanks to the Lindeth Howe Hotel.
The historic hotel once a holiday home of Beatrix Potter will be at Stand E187, opposite the WI Tent, offering delights such as homemade shortbread and flapjack.
Attendees can expect on-the-day special offers including gift vouchers, valid for six months.
These vouchers will be redeemable for the hotel's popular dinners, afternoon teas, and cream teas.
In addition, guests can learn more about forthcoming events at Lindeth Howe, including Murder Mystery Nights scheduled for September, October, and November, the seasonal Christmas Market, and an A Christmas Carol book reading scheduled for December.
The Westmorland Show will take place on September 11 and 12.
From 1902 to 1913, Beatrix Potter wrote her famous children’s stories and for two of these stories, Timmy Tiptoes and Pigling Bland, she illustrated them whilst staying at Lindeth Howe.
After the death of her father, Beatrix Potter bought Lindeth Howe for her mother, Helen Potter to live in.
