Many families walked together, some for the first time, to give back to the hospice that provides free comfort and care for people with advancing illness and their families.
The ten mile challenge took place through the streets of Ulverston to Barrow at twilight with many wearing pink, fairy lights and deely-boppers.
This year, Ulverston’s very own celebrity, magician Jack Rhodes, who was runner-up on Britain’s Got Talent, performed for the walkers before they set off.
Drum group Boom Dang also got the party started with a special performance.
